an interesting mixture of English, Scottish, Irish and French tunes, carefully chosen for dancing

Ceilidh dancing is easy, sociable and fun and can be done by everyone. The caller will walk each dance through before trying it with the music, and will keep calling throughout to make sure everyone knows what to do!

We play for weddings, parties, fund-raisers, functions and at festivals and also run dance workshops.

Our dances are mainly English (barn dancing), but an evening can also include Scottish, American and even French or Breton dancing.

We are able to play more Scottish tunes and dances if that's what your evening needs. We played for 200 dancers in Glasgow at Hogmany 2010!

david boultbee

David grew up in Fife, Scotland and has played guitar since he was a bairn.

Although an experienced Scottish ceilidh dancer, he is currently improving his step-hops under Kate's 'excellent' tutelage.

When not playing folk music, David is lead artist with BREAD art collective.

joe harrison

A musician of fine pedigree, Joe plays bass, guitar and keys and will have a go with any other instrument he can lay his hands on.

A well established figure on the gig circuit, when not being a folkie, Joe plays and tours as part of Gideon Conn's band
